Once upon a windy day, I saw an old man carrying a heavy load on his one ‘senget’ shoulder. I asked myself, “Why is his shoulder ‘senget’?” I asked the old man and then……
I questioned my existence.
This is a story of me the child, me the teenager and me the drummer in Kuala Lumpur.
The performance is a mixture of three different art disciplines – percussion, theatre, and physical movement. By stimulating the audience’s senses of hearing and seeing, this piece tries to bring the audience into the atmosphere of “Hidup ini senget”.
