Presented by The Actors Studio Seni Teater Rakyat in collaboration with MUKA Space in conjunction with commemorating the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death performance. From the director of the multi-award winning The Dawns Here Are Quiet, comes yet another groundbreaking production. Dr. Deric Gan has once again assembled his dream team of award-winning creative visionaries and actors for an explosive season finale for Shakespeare 400.
Richard III, body deformed but mind as sharp as ever, has one dream and one dream only which is to ascend the throne. He draws his audience in, plots with them as if they are his co-conspirators, willing to stop at nothing and at no one.
It is ugly. It is vicious. Because no price is too high to pay as he relentlessly feeds his desire and greed.
This gut-wrenching piece of theatre will have you at the edge of your seats from start to end.
